Reporter lets go Brandon

It happened on October 2nd with the NBC Sports reporter, Kelli Stavast. She had just interviewed NASCAR driver; whose name was Brandon brown after winning their first Xfinity series race.

Brown was at the back with his supporters who were shouting “fuck joe biden” at that moment. However, Stavast mistakenly heard them saying in unison; “let’s go brandon”..”

Soon, “Let’s go Brandon” literally grew into an euphemism which expressed a discontent with President Joe Biden at sports and political gatherings.

Another group of individuals have equally resorted to the same phrase as a mode to denigrate and disparage Biden’s followers.

Some have criticised the phrase “let’s go brandon!” as disreputable, calling it a violent expression.

Some, however, have argued that this is an exercise in free speech.
